Welcome, Farmers! Here is your one-stop guide to help you on your journey to becoming an expert horticulturist and breeder. Upon picking Farming as one of your professions, you will receive a set of basic tools with minimal durability to help get you started
Farmlands
Farms! Whether this is situated in settlements or your own humble abodes, where permitted farmland is created, you will be able to grow different types of crops for the populace, Unlike Mines or Pits, farms do not have their dedicated areas, as it's up to the players to decide where they want their fields



How to perform actions?
Farming is functionally the same!
- Till the land
With your Hoe in hand, be sure to check that the ground is ready for planting
- Plant the seed
Now with the seed of your require crop right click the fertile land to plant
- Harvest when grown
Over time your crops will mature, Player decides when to harvest
Different crops will have varying grow times which is also Season and Weather permitted, so make sure to check on it!
Animal Husbandry
Next we need to talk about Animal husbandry, To get started with this part of the profession, you will need to get yourself a Farmer's Crook and a specific crop to lure the Animals back to your pens!
With the crook in your main hand you must then hold in your Offhand a certain type of crop to lure and tame the wild animal

Once you have completed your harvest you will have an abundance of crops and hopefully some animals to butcher, You will be able to Trade or Sell these to cooks to help with the food economy they can use the carcasses you provide to butcher them into fine meats

To level up your Farming, you will gain XP from harvesting your crop, taming animals and readying them for butchery. With each level reducing durability loss on your Hoe and other tools modifying your yield. You will also gain a perk every time you reach a milestone tier (Novice ->Initiate)
