Cooking and Butchery

As a Cook of Uros, your main source of ingredients is from Farmers and Fishers. Look out for player-run shops to buy the ingredients you need to feed the world!

Also, as a Cook of Uros, you are also a Butcher! You’ll have to buy carcasses from Farmers, hang them and butcher them for meat. 

Chopping Board:

The Chopping Board is to prepare Meat, Fish & Seafood, Vegetables, Baking, and Other Ingredients. You’ll need a Cooking Knife to make anything on the Chopping Board.

Once you have selected something to make, right-click the chopping board the number of times indicated by the prompt in chat.

Campfire:

The Campfire is for cooking! On the Campfire, you’ll be able to cook Meat, Fish & Seafood, vegetables, and Baking recipes. 

Once you have selected something to make on the Campfire, add the amount you wish to cook and click the green tick on the GUI. It will then tell you in the chat how long it will take for the recipe to cook.

Cooking Pot:

The Cooking Pot is for higher-tier cooking; you’ll be able to cook Meat, Fish & Seafood, Vegetables, and Baking recipes.

Once you have selected something to make on the Cooking Pot, add the amount you wish to cook and click the green tick on the GUI. It will then tell you in the chat how long it will take for the recipe to cook.

Butchery:

Once you have acquired an animal carcass, you will need to hang it up on hooks within your workshop and, with a Meat Cleaver in hand, chop up the carcass; this, in return, will produce different Meat cuttings dependent on what animal was used.

Now you have an abundance of cooked and prepared meals; it's your job to distribute them how you see fit. Maybe you’ll want to rent or own a shop? Maybe a restaurant? At the end of the day, food is a vital ingredient to our players' lives, and the choice is yours on how you want to help

Like some of the other professions, your needed tools are a combination of input from others, Basic cooking knives being crafted from stone and the more refined ones out of iron. Due to the time it takes to create a cooking knife, we have decided to make them disposable, so once your Knife is blunt, be sure to buy a new one.

To level up your Cooking profession, you will gain XP from butchering carcasses, preparing ingredients, and cooking meals, with each level reducing durability loss on your tools. You will also gain a perk every time you reach a milestone tier (Novice ->Initiate)
