Where to gather resources
As a Smith, you’ll need many different resources to make tools, armour, and components. Your best suppliers will be Carpenters for Tool Rods, Tailors for Cloth Clothes, and, if you haven’t taken Mining to smelt ore into bars, Miners will be your main resource providers.
What to do with the resources
To make anything, you’re first going to need a Smithing Table, which is made by a Carpenter, and then you can make an anvil. Once you have both the Smithing Table and Anvil, you can now make any Smith Item. There are many different items and blocks you can make as a Smith and people will always need things from you!

To level up your Smithing profession, you will gain XP from crafting anything on the Smithing Table or Anvil. You will also gain a perk every time you reach a milestone tier (Novice ->Initiate)
