Welcome Loggers! Here is your one-stop guide to help you on your journey to becoming a proficient lumberjack. Upon picking Logging as one of your professions, you will receive a set of basic tools with minimal durability to help get you started!
Where to gather wood?
Around Uros, you will find designated areas where you are able to perform your tasks. They will be distinctive enough to spot but subtle enough to blend into the world.
How to fell a tree?
To successfully fell a tree you will need to have an axe in hand and hold down the cut action at the base of the tree (Time will be dependant on level and tree size) you will see the bar fill up until you have successfully cut it down, in which the tree will animate coming down before a new sapling is planted automatically and the grow timer is shown until the tree is back.
What to do with the resources?
Now you have resources in hand. Where do you go? What do you do? The answer? The choice is yours - Resources in Uros are consumed not only with builds but also by all other professions. Carpentry, for example, uses wood to create tools, Building Materials, and other items. You can also use the logs as fuel for campfires and furnaces.
Tools and where to find them
Loggers will rely on both Carpentry and Smithing to access higher-tier tools such as the Wooden Axe, Copper Axe, Iron Axe, and so on, more information can be found by clicking on the card below!
Experience and Levels
To level up your Logging, you will gain XP from felling trees, with each level reducing durability loss on your axe. You will also gain a perk every time you reach a milestone tier (Novice -> Initiate)
