Deep inside the caverns of Dol'Barr, stalking you at every corner, a hum that's almost intrinsic to the mountain. Only those who've lived in harmony with these caverns can hear the full symphony; hundreds of crystals "chant" in unison with a low vibration that doesn't die out no matter how far you are.

The Grokon have studied this phenomenon for centuries, followed their sound, and unearthed many of these crystals. They have been named Cantanite, a nod to their strange "chant." But it's not constant; they seemingly react to something...

A discovery abruptly ended the investigation into the nature of these minerals. During the seasons of wind and storm, the Cantanite pieces intensify their song and acquire strong enough attraction to fuse with each other.

The elders had decided amongst themselves these crystals were part of something larger, one of Veyrm's schemes. The quick-witted deity of the winds, messenger of life and death, had come to claim Dol'Barr. And so Dol'Barr's founder, Ulkarth, made a decree to protect his people; it was ordered that they hide it all along the mountain, making sure the Grokon always keep the chant controlled.
