Code of Conduct & Decrees

1. Respect & Community Conduct

We are a community-first server. How you treat the person behind the screen matters more than the character they play.

Harassment, Toxicity & Hate Speech

  • Zero tolerance: racism, homophobia, sexism, religious prejudice, and comparable hateful behaviour result in severe punishment, often a permanent ban.
  • Toxic behaviour: constant baiting, dogpiling, public drama, and making other players feel unwelcome is not acceptable.
  • Bullying: targeted harassment in game, on Discord, or by DM is prohibited.

IC vs OOC Separation

  • You are not your character. In-character rivalries, insults, arrests, wars, and betrayals must remain in-character.
  • Use staff channels properly. If you have a real dispute, use /modreq, staff DMs, or the proper support route rather than public fighting.
Consequences: Verbal Warning → 3–7 Day Ban → Permanent Ban. Hate speech can skip directly to permanent removal.
2. Roleplay Integrity

Uros expects immersive medieval fantasy roleplay. Your character does not know Discord chatter, hidden nametags, coordinates from a stream, or what your alternate character learned elsewhere.

Metagaming

Using OOC information to benefit your character is forbidden.

✘ Violation
"I saw on Discord where the ambush is happening, so my character goes there fully prepared."
✔ Valid RP
"I heard rumours in-character and decided to investigate."

Powergaming

Do not force outcomes, instant wins, or impossible physical actions onto others.

✘ Violation
"*slashes his throat instantly, killing him before he can react.*"
✔ Valid RP
"*attempts to grab him and hold a blade to his neck.*"

Multi-Character Abuse

  • Your alternate characters are separate people.
  • You may not use one character to gather information, money, or advantage for another through OOC coordination.
  • Do not use alt characters to bypass bounty, criminal consequences, lock permissions, or social reputation.

Magic & Lore

  • Magic is lore-bound and cannot be improvised because it suits a scene.
  • If a magical ability, race trait, or hidden talent is not approved, it does not exist in RP.
Consequences: Scene voiding, warning points, temporary bans, or character action rollbacks depending on severity.
3. Combat, Death & Logging

Combat exists to support story, consequences, and territorial conflict, not random murder.

No RDM
No random attacks without a valid RP reason and clear initiation.
NLR
Dying in PvP has memory and return consequences. Respect staff/event rulings on new life application.
PK
Permadeath is serious and should align with story stakes, consent, or staff-backed event outcomes.
Combat Logging
Disconnecting to avoid capture, death, or review is treated as a major offense.

Initiation Standards

  • You must provide an RP reason and enough warning for the other side to understand danger exists.
  • Immediate violence without lead-up should be extremely rare and staff-defensible.
  • Use /roll when a scene calls for uncertain outcomes rather than forced narration.
Consequences: Inventory wipes, forced scene outcomes, long bans, and permanent bans for repeat offenders or combat log abuse.
4. Property, Locks & Theft

Uros uses an actual lock system, so property disputes are not vague. Respect what the system and the story are telling you.

Lock Types Matter

  • Private locks are private. If you are not on the lock, do not try to force access by loopholes or bugs.
  • Public locks protect the block but intentionally allow normal interaction.
  • Donation containers are for putting items in, not taking them out unless authorised.
  • Password locks are IC security. Do not OOC-share passwords unless the RP justifies it.

Theft & Trespass

  • Stealing from an unlocked or intentionally public container may be an IC crime even if the plugin allows it.
  • Using glitches, block updates, inventory desync, hoppers, or other tricks to bypass a lock is an exploit, not clever thievery.
  • Do not abuse alt characters to scout passwords, test lock access, or move stolen goods out-of-character.

Shops, Treasuries & Economic Storage

  • Do not exploit shop ownership, rental logic, donation chests, or treasury permissions.
  • Economy storage and lock abuse will be handled as both property abuse and economy exploitation.
Consequences: Item restoration, rollback, warning points, temporary bans, and harsher punishment for deliberate exploit use.
5. Communication & Messaging

Chat Behaviour

  • Keep IC and OOC channels used correctly.
  • Do not spam help, OOC, birds, or PMs.
  • Birds are an IC system. Treat their content as in-world correspondence, not OOC shortcuts.

Private Messages & Staff Support

  • Do not harass people through PMs because you think it is less visible.
  • Do not weaponize /modreq or spam tickets for drama, false accusations, or nuisance reports.
  • Use support channels honestly. False or malicious reports are punishable.
6. Building, Shops & World Interaction

Aesthetic Standards

  • Build within the medieval fantasy theme unless staff explicitly approve something unusual.
  • No joke skyscrapers, immersion-breaking signs everywhere, or careless terrain scarring in developed areas.

World Abuse

  • Griefing for the sake of damage is banned.
  • Using mechanics to permanently ruin settlements, shops, or player projects without staff-backed conflict context is not acceptable.
  • Do not abuse custom crafting, ore systems, shops, or storage mechanics in ways clearly outside intended use.
Consequences: Rollback, confiscation, warnings, and bans depending on damage and intent.
7. Exploits, Clients & Unfair Advantage
  • No hacked clients, x-ray, fly hacks, item dupes, economy exploits, packet abuse, or intentional bug abuse.
  • If you discover a bug in locks, shops, combat, treasuries, crafting, or messaging, report it. Do not test it on live players for profit.
  • “I was just seeing if it worked” is not a defense once items, money, or access rights were gained.
Consequences: Exploit rollbacks, confiscation, long bans, or permanent bans depending on severity and intent.
8. Content Safety
  • ERP is not welcome here.
  • Sexual violence, extreme torture, suicide roleplay, or similarly severe content without explicit staff and participant approval is prohibited.
  • Do not use “dark fantasy” as an excuse to make the space unsafe for others.
Consequences: Immediate severe punishment up to and including permanent bans.

Finality of Staff Decisions

Staff are expected to be fair, but they also need to end situations cleanly. If a staff member makes an immediate ruling to keep the server playable, follow it first and appeal later through the proper route.

Administrative Discretion

Rules cannot cover every edge case in a custom RP server with economy, locks, shops, crafting, and combat systems. Deliberately abusing loopholes will be judged by intent, not by how cleverly the loophole was found.
