Lilwen had always lived in a small village off a path between Caldris and Windell in the little tavern inn her parents owned and ran. During the crop season, she'd help her father tend to the village garden and take care of the animals during the day while helping out in the tavern's bar at night. She had always been known in her village to be helpful with everyone and anyone who asked. As a teen, her father let her start working with her mother more and she became the day barmaid while her mother worked the nights still. She had grown many of her own customers and had gotten asked many time to go out on an adventure with many groups but she always declined to help and stay behind with her parents.

As she got older, she had traveled to the other regions of Astrya and even lived in Windell for awhile to study plants and herbs to help her home, wanting to do more with her life than stay in her village. When she arrived back home, she noticed the crops hadn't been growing in the abundance they once were and things almost looked duller. She thought she had just been gone for awhile and being in Windell changed her perspective. After a few weeks more and more of the crops were dying to the point she could no longer ignore it. She had heard of some rumors in Windell and thought of them as just that: rumors. She paid no mind to them but now she was worried.

Lilwen decided something to help better her village: leave home and travel across the Great Sea to help find something, anything, to help her village and region out.

Upon arriving to Alphos, she decided she'd try and find work for herself and get to know the other travelers and their stories to help find out what is happening to her home.
