Backstory
Rosalyne was born and raised in one of the small unnamed towns in the north.
While her family wasn't rich they were comfortable, Her parents both owned a bakery that she would sometimes work at for some extra pocket money.
At the bakery she learned how to cook, harvest ingredients, and prepare dishes.
Her parents both thought that she would continue the family business, she did too.
Until one fateful day when an adventurer came to town.
The town was was quite welcoming to outsiders, the terrain made it so that they rarely ever got them.
This adventurer had traveled all over the land for work and had only stopped here for work.
This was the first time Rosalyne had ever seen someone not from the town, so like most of the other children she was curious.
She asked them about the world outside the town, at first the adventurer refused but after many times of her constant nagging they finally obliged.
They told her about the many jobs they had taken, the foes they had slayed and the work of an adventurer. Rosalyne was inspired by the stories and decided to work towards her goal of becoming an adventurer.
Her parents were actually pretty supportive of this decision.
After getting permission from her parents Rosalyne began to train with the adventurer, She learned mostly combat techniques, but she was also taught
survival skills, proper etiquette and everything an adventurer should know. Eventually she set off to become an adventurer.
Rosalyne chose to leave her town around the time The Fading had begun, she saw the effect that it had on the lands outside of the town. Rosalyne returned to the town to try to convince her parents and the other townspeople to migrate to Umbria.
The townspeople refused to migrate, and so did her parents at first. But after seeing how adamant she was on them leaving they yielded in. After selling their bakery and pooling enough money for the trip to Alphos they left the town. The other townspeople stayed, Rosalyne was unsure if it was because they didn't believe her or wanted to hold onto the hope that The Fading would stop and leave their town unharmed.
After making it to Alphos Rosalyne's parents set up the bakery again, Rosalyne sometimes visits but has lately been exploring the islands around Alphos.
